How a WhatsApp QR code works
The code contains an official WhatsApp click-to-chat link: https://wa.me/ followed by your number. Scanning it opens WhatsApp straight into a chat with you — the customer doesn't need to save your number first.
Add a pre-filled message such as "Hi, I'd like to order" so you know where the chat came from, and the customer only has to tap Send.
Entering the number correctly
Use the full international format: country code first, then the number without the leading 0. A UK mobile 07700 900123 becomes +44 7700 900123; a Vietnamese number 0912 345 678 becomes +84 912 345 678. Spaces, dashes and the + sign are removed automatically.
