Why put a vCard QR code on your business card
Nobody types in a phone number from a card any more. A vCard QR code holds your contact details in the standard vCard 3.0 format, and scanning it opens the phone's "Add contact" screen with every field already filled in.
Use it on business cards, conference badges, email signatures, shop counters and the back of your laptop.
Keep it short so it stays scannable
Every field you fill makes the QR pattern denser. Include what people actually need — name, phone, email, company and website — and leave out long addresses if you print the code small. Print it at least 2.5 cm (1 inch) wide.

Frequently asked questions
Can I update the details later?
No. The details are stored in the code itself, so a changed number means printing a new code. That is also why it works forever without any service.
What size should I print it?
At least 2.5 × 2.5 cm (1 × 1 inch) on a business card. Denser codes with many fields need more space.
Does it work with Outlook and Gmail contacts?
The phone adds the contact to its own address book, which syncs to Google or Microsoft accounts like any other contact.
