Meta Title & Description Checker
Check whether your meta title and description fit typical search-result limits, in characters and pixels, and whether they include your keyword.
Checks whether it appears in both the title and the description.
Limits are typical estimates, not official — Google measures titles in pixels and may show something different. Nothing you type is sent to a server.

Frequently asked questions
What is a good meta title length?
Google cuts titles by width — roughly 580 pixels — which usually means around 50–60 characters. Put your most important words first.
What is a good meta description length?
Around 70 to 155 characters is a reasonable target: long enough to persuade, short enough not to be truncated.
Do meta descriptions affect rankings?
Not directly, but a clear description can improve how many people click your result, which helps your traffic.
Why measure in pixels?
Wide letters like “W” take more space than narrow ones like “i”, so two titles with the same character count can be different widths. Google truncates by width.
