Frequently asked questions

How do I crop a photo to a square?

Choose “1:1 — Square” as the aspect ratio, move the box over the part you want, and click Crop image.

What size should an Instagram post be?

Use 1:1 for square posts or 4:5 for portrait posts, which take up more of the feed. For Stories and Reels use 9:16.

Does cropping reduce the quality?

The cropped area keeps its original pixels. PNG output is lossless; JPG and WebP are saved at high quality (92%).
