Frequently asked questions
Why convert a PDF to PNG instead of JPG?
PNG is lossless, so slides, charts, diagrams and small text look exactly like the original with no blur or artifacts.
Why are the PNG files so large?
Lossless images keep every pixel. Lower the resolution to 150 or 72 DPI, or use PDF to JPG for much smaller files.
Do PNG pages have a transparent background?
No. Pages are rendered on white, the way they look in a PDF viewer.
