Frequently asked questions
What is lorem ipsum?
A scrambled passage of Latin used as placeholder text so designers can judge a layout without being distracted by readable content.
Why not just write real text?
Real copy draws the eye to the wording instead of the design. Placeholder text lets you focus on typography, spacing and layout.
Is the text the same every time?
No. Each click generates different combinations of words, apart from the optional standard opening.
Can I use it commercially?
Yes. Lorem ipsum has no meaningful content or copyright — but replace it with real text before you publish anything.
