Frequently asked questions
How many days are there between two dates?
Pick both dates above and the total number of days appears instantly. By default the start date counts and the end date does not; tick “Include the end date” to count both.
How are months counted?
Full calendar months are counted from the start date, and the leftover days are shown separately. From 31 January to 1 March is 1 month and 1 day, because the month ends on 28 February.
Does it handle leap years?
Yes. February’s length in leap years like 2028 is taken into account automatically.
What if the start date is after the end date?
The two dates are swapped and you’ll see a note saying so, so you always get a positive result.
