Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate the number of working days between two dates?
Count every day from the start up to the end and leave out Saturdays, Sundays and any public holidays. This calculator does that for you.
Are the start and end dates included?
By default the start date is counted and the end date is not. Tick “Count the end date as a working day too” to include both.
Does it know my country’s public holidays?
No — holidays differ by country, region and employer, so you list the ones that apply to you. This keeps the result exact for your calendar.
Can I change which days are the weekend?
Not currently — the calculator treats Saturday and Sunday as the weekend.
