The scanner fed the pages in backwards. An appendix landed before the introduction. A colleague merged files in the wrong order. Whatever the cause, putting PDF pages back in sequence shouldn't need a desktop program.

- Reversed scans. Stacks fed in the wrong way round give you a document that runs from the last page to the first.
- Merged files combined in the wrong sequence.

How to reorder PDF pages

A note on document features
Because a new PDF is built from the pages in your chosen order, document-level features like bookmarks and interactive form fields may not be carried over. Check the result if you rely on them.
