How to Delete Pages From a PDF Without Any Software

A scanned document has a blank page at the end. A report contains a page you don't want to share. Deleting pages from a PDF doesn't need expensive software — a browser is enough.

What deleting pages really does

Deleting pages creates a new PDF that leaves out the pages you choose; your original file isn't touched. That's useful: if you make a mistake, the source is still there.

How to delete pages

Open the Delete PDF Pages tool and choose your PDF. It shows the page count.
Type the pages to remove. You can combine single pages and ranges:
- 2 — page 2 only
- 1, 4-6 — page 1 and pages 4 to 6
- 9- — page 9 to the last page
Click Delete pages and download the result.

The tool shows how many pages remain, and won't let you delete every page — a PDF needs at least one.

Removing confidential content safely

Before sharing a file whose sensitive pages you've deleted, open the result and check it. Deleting a page from a PDF creates a new file without that page, but if the sensitive information also appears on other pages, or in the document's metadata, it's still there. For redacting text within a page, you need a dedicated redaction tool.

A note on document features

Because a new PDF is built from the pages you keep, document-level features like bookmarks and interactive form fields may not be carried over. Check the result if you rely on them.

Can I undo a deletion? Your original file is unchanged, so you can simply start again from it.

Can I delete pages from a password-protected PDF? Not directly. Remove the password first.
