PDFs are great for documents, but awkward everywhere else. You can't drop a PDF page into most slide decks, chat apps or social posts, and many upload forms only accept images. Converting the pages to JPG solves all of that.

When you'd want a PDF as JPG
- Sharing one page — a ticket, a certificate or a chart — in a chat app, where images preview instantly.
- Adding a page to a presentation or a document editor that doesn't import PDFs.
- Upload forms that ask for a JPG of a document.
- Social media, where only images and video are accepted.
How to convert a PDF to JPG
- Open the free PDF to JPG converter and choose your PDF.
- Pick a resolution — 150 DPI suits most uses.
- Keep Convert every page ticked, or untick it and enter the pages you want, like
1-3, 5. - Click Convert to JPG. Download single pages, or Download all (ZIP) to get every image at once.
The PDF is converted in your browser and never uploaded. Each image is named after the page, such as report-page-3.jpg, so they stay in order.
Choosing the right resolution
For an A4 page, the three settings give roughly:
- 72 DPI — about 595 × 842 pixels. Small files for previews and chat apps.
- 150 DPI — about 1240 × 1754 pixels. A good all-rounder for screens and slides.
- 300 DPI — about 2480 × 3508 pixels. Print quality, with much larger files.
You can also adjust the JPG quality slider. 90% is a good default; lower it for smaller files.

Page selection tips
4— just page 41-3, 7— pages 1 to 3 and page 710-— page 10 to the end

JPG or PNG?
JPG makes much smaller files and is ideal for scans and pages with photos. If your pages are mostly sharp text, charts or diagrams, PNG keeps every edge crisp — see PDF to PNG or PDF to JPG?
FAQ

Why is the background white? PDF pages are rendered on white, the way they look in a PDF viewer.
Is there a size limit? PDFs up to 100 MB are supported. For very long documents at 300 DPI, convert a range of pages at a time.
