Frequently asked questions
What is a JSON viewer for?
Reading large or deeply nested JSON is hard as plain text. A tree lets you collapse the parts you don’t care about and inspect just the branch you need.
What is the path that gets copied?
A JSONPath-style expression such as $.users[0].name that points to a value, useful when writing code or queries against the data.
What if my JSON is invalid?
You’ll see the parser’s error with the line and column, so you can fix it before the tree is shown.
Is there a size limit?
No fixed limit, but very large arrays show their first 300 items in the tree to keep the page responsive.
